Twigby has made significant updates to its plans, offering more data and reducing prices in certain plans. This move comes as a response to the evolving needs and preferences of their customers in the mobile market.

If you do not need to use lots of data, the 5GB and 10GB data plans should be enough for most people. Its price is much cheaper compared with its network Verizon. The 5GB plan only cost $10 for the first 3 months, then $20/month. The 10GB plan only costs $16 for the first 3 months, then $25/month.

The average person should be alright with 10GB of data each month. If you don’t often stream 4K ultra-high definition (UHD) movies, play online mobile games, or use a mobile hotspot, 10GB is adequate. Twigby’s restricted data plans should be sufficient, especially if you use WiFi most of the time. Be cautious and remember to review your data frequently.

The highest monthly data plan is 20GB per month. you’ll still have a cheap mobile phone payment of $25 per month for the first 3 months. However, after that, your monthly fee jumps to $35, making it more costly than Mint’s unlimited data plan and Visible’s unlimited plan in pricing.

When you use up your high-speed data allowance, your 2G data speeds will be restricted for the balance of your billing cycle.

In addition, all of the carrier’s data plans come with free mobile hotspot support but bear in mind that this data is taken from your overall monthly allocation. Data and talk-only plans provide great free international calling and messaging to more than 80 countries.

If you exceed your high-speed data limit during the billing cycle, Twigby provides you with several options:

  1. Purchase Additional Data: 1GB of data for $6. This option allows you to continue using high-speed data beyond your plan’s allotted amount until the end of the billing cycle.
  2. Upgrade to the Next Plan: Alternatively, you can choose to upgrade to a higher-tier plan that offers more high-speed data. This allows you to have a larger data allowance for the rest of the billing cycle, ensuring you can use the internet without any speed restrictions.
  3. Access Slow Data (2G Speeds): If you prefer not to purchase extra data or upgrade to a higher plan, Twigby offers the option to continue using data at reduced speeds, typically referred to as 2G speeds, at no additional charge. While this option allows you to maintain some level of connectivity, it’s worth noting that browsing and streaming may be considerably slower compared to high-speed data.

It’s essential to carefully consider your data usage habits and needs before making a decision. Each option comes with its pros and cons, depending on how much data you require and your willingness to pay for extra high-speed data or an upgraded plan.

Customizable Phone Plans

If you can’t find a plan that suits your demands and budget, Twigby allows you to personalize your talk, text, and data allocations, in addition to selecting from a variety of pre-set plans.

twigby custom plans

Your monthly minutes and data may be customized on their “build-your-own-plan” website. There are six data options: No data, 2GB, 5GB, 10GB, 20GB. If you can’t find a pre-built plan that matches your needs, you may create your own.

Twigby provides you with the option of using data or not using data at all. Regardless of whatever choice you pick, Twigby’s value-priced options will save you a lot of money.

Its entire phone plans feature unlimited texting and talking, and if you rarely use data, you only have to select No data plan.

It offers unlimited talking and texts only for $5/month for the first 3 months, then the price will be $10/month.

1 thought on “Twigby Review, Is Twigby good?”

  1. They were ok until I needed costumer service, by the way only way to communicate with them is through chat online only! No # to call “real pain”. Bought two phones when I first switch to them, not even a year old, they switch networks and said my phones were no longer compatible had to buy two more or I will no longer have service bought two more one did not work, they charge me $30 to exchange the phone $7 for shipping $11 to return the phone that did not work and they charge me the price of the new phone till they can inspect the phone for damage. Then I found an extra charge on my bank statement for $44 they said they have no record of it so there is nothing they can do about it. I told them I will file a fraudulent charge with my bank they said if I do they will turn service off till they can investigate and they will charge me $30 for it. Read there policies before you switch to there service (unreal!) I had enough went to switch my service to another carrier, try to port my #’s should have taken a few min. To do, but not with them it took 4 days/hours every day going back and forth with them, they gave me a different excuses every time, File a complaint with FCC they finally ported my numbers.
What a nightmare of a company to deal with.
